Getting started on TaleTutor

First off, login to your TaleTutor account from TaleTutor.com. You can pick you native and target languages on you dashboard by clicking the settings button. After this, head over to the dashboard by clicking you username on the navigation panel, and click the generate button.

Story generation is the main service of TaleTutor. You input the language you wish the story to be in, level and customise the topic of the story. We thing the weirder the story, the better is it. Look at some of our favourite prompts:

  • 'A bee gets lost looking for shiny shoes in a field instead of pretty flowers'
  • 'John's left toe went missing one day and he found it in his hat'
  • 'Maryann forgot she is meant to go fishing everyday even though she doesn't like fish'
Irregular stories help you learn words in a different way and make the process more enjoyable. That is not to say a normal story specific for the vocab is not okay either, there's more then one way to use the generate feature!

Stories can be turned into audio by clicking the play button. This will cost you an audio token. Audio tokens are given at the start of every month depending on the subscription tier you signed up for. When you make an audio, it will be saved forever with that story and you can access it again later. A little confirmation will always show when you want to spend an audio token.

The story Library

When you've finished with a story, you may want to look or read it again. On the dashboard there is a button labelled story library. This allows you to see your previous story titles layout for you.
